The legs are the biggest muscle group in your body, therefore working your legs is one of the most strenuous and productive workouts you can accomplish at the gym. Squats The squat is the single best workout for your whole body, it works both balance and strength. Proper form for the squat is essential; here are some tips to help you with quality form.
-Feet shoulder width apart at a 45 degree angle. This is extremely important so your knees are at their natural angle and help to prevent injury.
-Keep your back straight, and push your chest out.

Lunges are a great exercise to work all the muscles in the quadriceps. If lunges alone don’t give you a hard enough workout try them with a dumbbell in each hand to intensify your work out and help to build size and strength faster. Some pointers to help you with form during lunges are:
Alternate legs between reps, start by going right leg first and switch to your left leg all in the same set.
Go down just before your knee touches the ground. Both knees should be at a 90 degree angle.
Keep feet should width apart.
Keep your back straight and your chest out.
Calf Raises - Calves are one of the most frustrating muscles to work since they are smaller than other muscles, and it can be hard to both see and receive results compared to most other muscles. But if you stay dedicated and don’t forget to do the workout the results will come, rest assured. Here are some other simple work outs to build the calf muscle.
Skipping, not only is skipping a great way to build your calves it is also one of the best cardio workouts you can get.
Running also is great for your calves and cardio. If you run in intervals it can increase both of these traits.
Box jumps onto around a 24 inch box is an all around great workout for your whole legs. Just be careful finding the right platform so you’e not going to have a nasty accident while working out.
Along with all other workouts you must stay dedicated to see the results, no exception with the legs. Yes, legs are a more difficult workout but for good reason, it helps to increase overall health with everyday life, also it’s a full body workout that fits right into your schedule.
