The Healthy Living Blog – The 3 Stages
Ok so in my first blog write up I talked about what you can expect from following the Healthy living plan, and what subjects it will be covering. I’ve already got a good number of emails from people asking questions and I will be doing my best to try and reply to each and every email I do receive (again my email is email@example.com) but Mark from Iowa asked one that I do want to expand on. He asked “does the healthy living plan have a timeline?” and the answer to that is yes and no. This is not like a 5 week plan to see results, rather it is a 3 stage process in which you will turn you life into a well balanced act of healthy eating, exercising, and living.
The first thing you need to understand is that healthy eating and living is not a quick fix to lose 40 pounds, it is a sure way to improve your lifestyle and over the weeks and months if you are overweight by 40 pounds then you will lose that weight, or even better turn it into muscle. Stage one consists of finding easy ways to exercise and start to implement healthy eating into your diet. Again you will not be doing anything to Jurassic like cutting all carbs, or stop eating red meats, you will be making changes to the size of portions you eat, what time of the day you eat, and adding foods that work with your body to create energy and initiate fat loss.
The second step is where we focus on the diet, we start cutting down on the un-healthy foods that are in your weekly meals and replace with healthy alternatives and options, I will also be adding recipe’s for you to try and believe me I am no Iron chef so if I can make these meals I’m dam sure you can to. Stage two is also when you will experience the most dramatic weight loss because as your body becomes healthier you we start becoming more active and find you sleep better and just live each and every day a lot more happier. You will get set up on a muscle building agenda where you will start seeing the old fat turn into new muscle and by the time next summer roll’s around you wont be able to get your shirt off fast enough.
Stage three is living with moderation, where you will be set on cruise control because your healthy living plan has taken over and you no longer have to even think about being healthy and active each day because that is the new you. What you will need to do however is stay with the program until you reach that point and when those situations come up and you want to binge eat or eat because your bored you need to fight and win that battle against un-healthy eating.
