The MG Tuna Melt
Fish is an awesome source of protein and essential fatty acids, but a lot of people out there ( including me ) just hate seafood. I like salmon if it BBQ’ed and that’s pretty much it. But when I tried this MG Tuna Melt I just about cried it was so good. Hardly fishy at all, and with almost 50 gram’s of protein it is just great for after a workout. So even if you don’t like fish give this baby a try and see what you have been missing!
The MG Tuna Melt makes two wraps, now here is how to make it…
To start you will need the following;
- Can of Tuna
- Half of an Apple
- Mayo
- Salmon Spice, steak spice, and garlic spice if you have it.
- Grated cheese
- Two wraps
Step one – open tuna and drain out the water, then put the tuna into a bowl. Add in mayo ( about two teaspoon’s, enough so the tuna is covered).
Step two – Here is the secret ingredient – Cut up the half apple into little cubes, make sure you dice it up really good. Then add the apple into the bowl with the tuna and then add the Three types of spice’s also. (Two shakes of each spice is plenty).
Step 3 – Mix everything in the bowl until it has all blended into one, then put the grated cheese on top.
Final step – Put the mixture in the middle of the two wraps and fold so that there are no open ends, next either put the wraps on your frying pan or George Forman grill for about 3-5 minutes to heat up. Serve heated for best tasting results. Also good if you make the wraps and then re-heat then later that day in the microwave.
It is really that easy, the whole prep time for this is around 7-10 minutes, but once you become a master like myself you can get that down to 3 haha. Don’t forget the apple!
Enjoy
