There are so many negative effects of carrying an extra 20 pounds, 30 pounds, 40 pounds or more it seems childish not to look after yourself better. Having an above average blood pressure and cholesterol will put more strain on your heart and veins to pump blood to where its needed. This can be a determining factor in early heart failure or heart related problems.
Heightened Glucose Levels– High glucose levels is commonly linked to type 2 diabetes
Sleep Apnea– Poor sleeping patterns have been associated with excess weight and obesity. Losing weight can help you get a better night sleep and in turn lowering stress levels.
Joint Pain– Carrying extra weight puts unnecessary strain on your joints and can cause osteoporosis if not corrected.
Low Self Esteem– No one likes the way they look when there over weight, and a little self esteem can make a big difference in your everyday life, so do it for your self.
