Contracts are contracts. Apple’s products still allow you to do more with less frustration, that’s their niche.

Apple isn’t preventing anyone from doing anything…when you buy their products, you agree to the terms and conditions yourself. If you didn’t want to feel “restricted” like critics have tricked you into believing, you shouldn’t have bought the product.

I assume that ‘won’t be like 1984′ refers to the famous dystopian novel. That would make a lot more sense then saying it won’t be like the events that make up the year it was released on… also derp.
